From Ibiza Airport to Santa Eulària des Riu

How to get from Ibiza Airport to Santa Eulària des Riu
Santa Eulalia, the island’s third-largest town, with its seafront promenade and marina.
It is 18.9 km in a straight line from the airport. By road it is a bit more: the figure that really counts is the bus journey time, which comes from the official timetable.
Santa Eulària des Riu is on the east coast and is served by the AERO4, which comes from Cala Nova and Es Canar. From the airport it’s about 37 minutes up to Santa Eulària.
From April to October, there is a bus every hour in both directions; from November to March, there are five daily services to the airport and six back. The first departure from the airport in winter is very early, at 6.05, which is rather unusual: it’s designed for those who catch the first flight of the day from the other end of the island.

If the bus isn’t suitable for you
The advantage of Santa Eulària des Riu is that the bus runs all year round, so the problem is usually not the timetable but the time: there is no service outside the first and last departure times. During that gap, the only option is the taxi —picking up passengers in front of the arrivals hall, without a booking, charged by the meter— or a private transfer at a fixed price.
And if you’re going to be travelling around the island a lot, compare prices first with a car hire: the ticket counters are located in the terminal itself, and no AERO services run to the northern and western coves.
