Ibiza Airport Bus: AERO routes and timetables
The five AERO routes, their seasonal timetables, the journey time for each one and the ticket price.
The five AERO lines at Ibiza Airport
Ibiza Airport has five bus routes, all with the prefix AERO, operated by Alsa under the Transport Públic d’Eivissa brand of the Consell d’Eivissa. Two operate all year round (AERO2 and, with reduced hours, AERO1 and AERO4) and two are seasonal (AERO3 and AERO5).
It is by far the cheapest way to get to and from the airport: with a prepaid card, a ticket to Eivissa costs €1.20 compared with €4.90 in cash. The bus stop is signposted in front of the terminal.
The first thing to check is the date. Each route changes its timetable two or three times a year, and the differences are significant: the AERO1 goes from five services a day in winter to one every half hour in summer. Below is a list of each route with all its seasonal timetables.
| Line | Tour | Route | Service |
|---|---|---|---|
| AERO1 | Sant Antoni – Sant Josep – Airport | 50 mins | All year round |
| AERO2 | Ibiza – Sant Jordi – Airport | 20 mins | All year round |
| AERO3 | Ibiza – Airport (express) season | 22 mins | Season-only |
| AERO4 | Cala Nova – Es Canar – Santa Eulària – Airport | 60 mins | All year round |
| AERO5 | Airport – Platja d'en Bossa – Ses Figueretes season | 27 mins | Season-only |
The five AERO routes are operated by Alsa under the Transport Públic d'Eivissa brand. The journey time is as stated in the official timetable, from one end to the other.

Frequently Asked Questions
It depends on the line and how you pay. For Eivissa (AERO2 and AERO3): €1.20 with a prepaid card, €0.60 with the silver travel card, €3.50 with a bank card or QR code, and €4.90 in cash. For Sant Antoni, Santa Eulària or Platja d’en Bossa, the fare rises to €2.00 when paying by e-wallet and up to €5.60 when paying in cash.
During the peak season, the AERO2 departs from the airport towards Eivissa as far as the 0:30 and the AERO1 towards the Sant Antoni as far as the 1.30. In winter, they run much earlier: the AERO2 finishes at 23:30 and the AERO1 at 20:00.
Yes. The AERO3 is the express service and links the airport with the port in 20 minutes, every half hour, but only from 1 May to 15 October. Outside that season, the AERO2 also calls at the port on its way back.
That leaves the taxi, stopping at the terminal itself, or a private transfer. In winter, for flights arriving after 20:00, there is no longer a bus to Sant Antoni.
No: you pay on board. However, you must first purchase the prepaid card – which costs €1.20 – from a sales point on the island. If you arrive by plane and pay in cash, the ticket costs four times as much.
