How to get from Ibiza Airport to Sant Antoni de Portmany
San Antonio, on the west coast: the bay, the Sunset Strip and the island’s largest concentration of hotels.
It is 13.3 km in a straight line from the airport. By road it is a bit more: the figure that really counts is the bus journey time, which comes from the official timetable.
Sant Antoni de Portmany, on the west coast, is the airport’s second-busiest destination in terms of passenger numbers and the one most affected by the seasonal nature of the bus timetable. The AERO1 connect it directly, plugging it into Sant Josep, in about 50 minutes.
Check the date carefully before making any plans: from May to September, it runs every half hour, and the last departure from the airport is at 1.30; from November to March there are five services a day and the last one leaves the airport at 20:00. A winter flight landing at nine o’clock in the evening means there’s no bus to Sant Antoni.

If the bus isn’t suitable for you
The advantage of Sant Antoni de Portmany is that the bus runs all year round, so the problem is usually not the timetable but the time of day: there is no service outside the times of the first and last departures. During that gap, the only option is the taxi —picking up passengers in front of the arrivals hall, without a booking, charged by the meter— or a private transfer at a fixed price.
And if you’re going to be travelling around the island a lot, compare prices first with a car hire: the ticket counters are located in the terminal itself, and no AERO services run to the northern and western coves.
